Jack Wilshere joins Bournemouth on season-long loan from Arsenal
The England global is being backed to return to his “very best” at the Vitality Stadium by his new manager who says he is delighted the midfielder opted to join his side.

Bournemouth is set to pay the whole of Wilshere’s £90,000 weekly wages, apart from a payment of £2m in loan fees to Arsenal.
“He’s a very, very good player that’s the level of player we are trying to bring to the club”.
Arsenal’s trouble may be in picking through the suitors to find Wilshere the best deal, such is the interest in the England midfielder.
The 24-year-old was pictured attending his first training session for Bournemouth after putting pen-to-paper on the move last night.
Wilshere turned down moves to Serie A and Crystal Palace to join Bournemouth, and Eddie Howe believes it’s the right place for him.
Even with the midfielder’s proposed departure, Arsenal are satisfied with their transfer business having on Tuesday finally confirmed the signings of Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez.
His temporary exit appeared to conclude Arsenal’s transfer business for the summer window, barring any extraordinary late deal.
“I’m delighted to have joined Bournemouth on a season long loan and would like to thank everyone at the club for making me feel so welcome”, Wilshere wrote on Twitter.
An England debut followed at 18, but since then a succession of injuries have limited Wilshere to 159 Gunners appearances and 34 caps for his country.
“I think it is a big thing for us”.
Wilshere’s lack of first team football has also impacted his global career, and he didn’t make the cut for Sam Allardyce’s first squad since taking over from Roy Hodgson after EURO 2016.

And the presence of Granit Xhaka, Francis Coquelin, Mohamed Elneny, Santi Cazorla, Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil means Arsenal have no need to replace Wilshere.
