Jack Wilshere trains with Bournemouth
The Cherries were accompanied by Premier League rivals Crystal Palace and Serie A giants AC Milan in submitting a proposal to acquire Wilshere, and it would be the south coast club who prevailed.

“Jack is a fantastic addition to the club”, Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake said after Wilshere was pictured holding up the club’s red and black striped shirt outside their Dean Court stadium.
Bournemouth’s season-long loan signing of England midfielder Jack Wilshere from Arsenal represents uncharted territory for the club, said manager Eddie Howe.
The England worldwide dominated the headlines on transfer deadline day, snubbing offers from bigger clubs to link up with Eddie Howe’s side in a bid to gain more first-team football.
“He will bring a wealth of global and Premier League experience”, added Blake, “so we are delighted to be able to welcome a player of his calibre to the club”.
The decision regarding his future will be his, and will surround whether he considers Bournemouth or Palace the more suitable destination to revive his career.
And the presence of Granit Xhaka, Francis Coquelin, Mohamed Elneny, Santi Cazorla, Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil means Arsenal have no need to replace Wilshere.
In his defence, if you consider certain factors including his family, desire to stay in England and an exciting opportunity to be a part of Bournemouth’s on-going development, then the move does make sense for him.
Wilshere met Bournemouth officials including Howe on Tuesday, and also held a similar meeting with Palace and manager Alan Pardew.
‘I think Jack is Arsenal’s best left-footed midfielder since Liam Brady, but injury has robbed him of much of his career.

“We talked about the club and various different things, obviously we’re delighted he’s chosen us and I feel he will do really well in the team”.
