Jackass star Steve-O was arrested Sunday night after scaling a 10-story construction crane in the middle of Hollywood, as part of a stunt.

Police and firefighters were responding to a report of a man atop a crane in Hollywood on Sunday, August 9, 2015.
It’s reported he climbed down just before 9pm and was taken into custody, and although 45 minutes later he hadn’t been booked, police told NBC he could face charges including conspiracy to commit a crime, trespassing, setting off explosives (fireworks) within city limits without a permit and filming for personal gain without a permit.
“Some of the resources on this hoax could have been devoted to a real emergency”, Stewart said.
Steve-O was also arrested in an anti-SeaWorld stunt last year in which he allegedly defaced a traffic sign on I-5 in San Diego, adding the word “SUCKS” after “SeaWorld”.
Glover said his protest was in response to controversy over the 2103 documentary “Blackfish”, which criticized SeaWorld’s treatment of killer whales. On Saturday, Steve-O posted on Instagram a photo of him holding an inflatable killer whale to announce a “dangerous stunt”.
He later posted a picture of the ground showing his shoes as he stood on a narrow beam captioned, “Did Mention that I’m really high in the air?” I’ll stream live again soon for the stunts.

Steve-O’s final video, which was accompanied by the caption, “Anyone wanna bail me out of jail?” showed the stuntman laughing as he counted the number of police cars, fire engines and rescue vehicles that had arrived on the scene.
