Jada Pinkett Smith to Reprise Her Role on Hit FOX Drama GOTHAM
Jada Pinkett Smith will return to “Gotham” in Season 2, Variety has confirmed.

Of course, with so little information about how Fish returns to the series, another possibility is that we see her in flashbacks, perhaps in the memories of Penguin, before he betrayed her to become the king of Gotham’s criminal element. Ask all the white male characters on the show who are intimidated or threatened by Fish Mooney and her presence.
TV Line has learned that Jada Pinkett Smith will indeed reprise her role as the ruthless, calculating crime boss for several episodes later in Season Two.
Following that revelation, there was a groundswell of support for her character to return for season 2, which might have partly influenced Fox to bring her back. Even death itself rarely conquers a character’s will to return.
Showrunner Bruno Heller hinted after Mooney’s apparent death that nothing is as it seems. “It’s very unpredictable, the comic book world”.
“I would definitely not assume anything in a town like Gotham”.

If Fish is revived, we imagine that she’s going to be angling for revenge from Oswald Cobblepot. Jada Pinkett Smith is coming back to Gotham after missing the first half of season two. I love how smart and perceptive she is.
