Jags cap wild ending with game-winning field goal
It seemed the clock had hit zero. Instead, Dumervil, if you haven’t already seen – and you need to, it’s so choice – committed a facemask on Blake Bortles as the Jags quarterback was falling to the turf with no time left on the clock. As luck would have it, Myers nailed a stunning 53-yard bomb.

It wasn’t as if Baltimore played a ideal game by any means.
Flacco threw for 316 yards and 3 touchdowns but was intercepted twice, both in the third quarter.
Flacco and the Ravens surged downfield after Jacksonville’s “go ahead” score.
Yet the defense once again faltered down the stretch.
“I think I’ve said this before: sometimes, injury just happens”, Monroe said this week.
Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Jason Myers (2) boots a winning field goal in the final moments of an NFL football game against the Baltimore Ravens, Sunday, November 15, 2015, in Baltimore. Give the QB a couple of options that close to the goal line but they keep trying the fade as the only option and it fails.
In the first quarter, a referee’s call that could have gone either way went against Baltimore.
BAD MEMORIES: Ravens left tackle Eugene Monroe and running back Justin Forsett spent part of their careers in Jacksonville. Flacco is at 10 and 8 and last week he lost his best receiver, Steve Smith, for the season. Three forced turnovers – two interceptions by Davon House DA GAWD and one forced fumble by Abry Jones – were just a few of the highlights.
Myers’ field goal was good on the untimed down. The second play of the game saw Marqise Lee’s first touch since Week 3. House had his second interception in a little over four minutes. But on first down from the 33, Flacco held onto the ball for too long and was strip sacked by Abry Jones. A massive pass interference penalty on Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith, allowed the Jaguars to get into the redzone.
Blake Bortles looks to snap the Jaguars poor performance on the road this Sunday, with a matchup in Baltimore.
Bortles struggled to connect with his receivers despite facing a generous Baltimore pass defense. That gave the Ravens a 20-19 lead with 7:30 remaining in the fourth quarter after the conversion pass failed. That field goal capped a 15-play, 77-yard drive that was keyed by a 27-yard pass interference penalty on Smith covering Jaguars wide receiver Allen Robinson. On the next play, tight end Crockett Gilmore caught a 10-yard pass from Flacco for a touchdown.

“We have great respect for their secondary”, Harbaugh said. This has added up to a quarterback rating of 105, something that Joe Flacco should be able to take advantage of, even with his lack of weapons.
