The Jaguar F-TYPE British Design Edition has been revealed as a special edition F-Type S AWD Coupe and Convertible costing from £75,225.

Jaguar just announced the F-type British Design Edition, complimenting the already stylish F-type sports coupe.
Inside, the special edition F-Type gets a Jet premium leather interior with contrast stitching, available in red, ivory or blue. Carbon fiber replaces the usual aluminum on the center console, and British Design Edition badging adorns the headrests and treadplates.
Ian Callum, director of design, Jaguar, said: “The F-TYPE is a sports auto that excites the senses, with a visual drama that is both individual and very British”. There’s also an Ultimate Black option. The British Design Edition will be available for coupe and convertible versions of the 380-hp F-Type V6 S, equipped with rear- or all-wheel drive. Regardless of the number of driven wheels, Jag’s Super Performance Braking System comes as standard kit. Gizmag drove the excellent F-Type R edition earlier this year.
The exterior is enhanced with Jaguar’s Exterior Sport Design Pack (optional on the S model), which adds a gloss black front splitter, body-coloured side sills, fixed rear spoiler (for the coupe) and rear bumper venturi.
Looking inside, F-Type aficionados will also note the unique interior for the British Design Edition. Jaguar’s InControl Touch and InControl Touch Plus infotainment systems support a range of apps to improve driver connectivity, and are offered with upgraded Meridian audio equipment. Not only that, the 2017 edition of the F-Type has an additional eight litres of boot space. A 770w Meridian surround sound system with 12 speakers and the InControl Touch Plus is optional. Both of these systems are compatible with the InControl Apps, but the InControl Remote is now available for the Apple Watch. Interacting with the vehicle – from anywhere in the world – has never been easier.

It’s also possible to set the climate control and start the engine to bring the cabin to the desired temperature before a journey begins.
