Jaguars have 3 starters getting injuries checked out

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jaguars will place defensive tackle Sen’Derrick Marks on injured reserve with a torn right triceps.

Per the Florida Times-Union, Marks underwent an MRI after the game, but said he didn’t yet know the severity of the injury.

Marks suffered the injury during the Jaguars’ 22-20 victory over Baltimore last Sunday and sought a second opinion on Monday. The injury will require surgery. The Jaguars were already bereft of players who can rush the passer and Marks was their only real hope of trying to get a few semblance of a pass rush in 2015. Abry Jones would join Roy Miller in the starting line-up and back-end defensive end Tyson Alualu would slide inside for tackle reps.

The Jacksonville Jaguars can’t seem to catch a break this season when it comes to injuries and now you can add Sen’Derrick Marks to the list of victims. Bradley wouldn’t speculate on how long Hurns would be out, if at all but said the visit to sports hernia expert Dr. William Meyers was previously scheduled.

Rookie WR Rashad Greene is eligible to return to the active roster from reserve/injured, designated for return Thursday night against Tennessee, but head coach Gus Bradley hasn’t yet given him the green light to play.
