Jaguars’ Ivory remains in hospital
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Ivory will be reevaluated later in the week and his status for the team’s second game will hinge on what’s revealed. As long as Ivory is sidelined, T.J. Yeldon will handle the bulk of the touches out of the Jaguars’ backfield. Ivory is “in pain” and more tests are being done by doctors to come up with a treatment plan, Schefter reported. He set career highs in receptions (30) and receiving yards (217), too.

Ivory ran for 1,070 yards and seven touchdowns with the New York Jets last season. Prior to his time in NY, he was a member of the New Orleans Saints for three seasons.
Ivory, 28, originally signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent in 2010. Yeldon had an opportunity to demand a bigger role in the Jags’ expected committee, but ended up doing anything but.

From an on-field standpoint, this limits the Jaguars against a superior Green Bay Packers squad in their season opener. ET on Sunday afternoon.
