Jaguars RB Chris Ivory rejoins team after hospital stay
Per Hays Carlyon of the Florida Times-Union, the Jaguars have ruled running back Chris Ivory out for another week, after he spent a few days in the hospital earlier this week. He returned to EverBank Field Thursday, and released a statement through the team thanking the Jaguars’ medical staff, first responders and “everyone at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville” for their assistance. He missed the season opener against the Green Bay Packers on September 11. He was realized from the hospital on Tuesday.

Along with running back Chris Ivory (general medical issue), starting cornerback Prince Amukamara will be held out of the game on the West Coast with a hamstring injury. Thank you for all for your support. Ivory was back at EverBank Field on Thursday and could return against Baltimore on September 25. I want you to know that I read each and every message and I’m thankful for them all.
The Jaguars have not indicated the reason for Ivory’s hospitalization.
He declined to reveal specifics about the issue, saying “it was something that needed attention and I went in in pain and I got the problem fixed”. I’m ready to go. According to the team, Ivory was “doing well”. Ivory obviously missed the Jaguars’ narrow loss to the Packers Sunday afternoon.
Last season with the Jets, Ivory rushed for a career-high 1,070 yards and seven touchdowns in 15 games.

“It would be really challenging for him”, Bradley said of Ivory playing Sunday.
