Jaguars’ Yeldon uncertain against Falcons with knee injury

Matt Hasselbeck has played well, but it is obvious that the Colts can’t win unless they have a healthy Luck on the field leading the way. The last time we got stomped like this was in 2006 and we went on to win the Super Bowl.

Injured Colts quarterback Andrew Luck could return to the practice field as early as this week, though whether he plays in Sunday’s massive game against the Houston Texans is still very much in doubt.

Sunday marked the sixth game Luck has missed this season (two due to a shoulder injury in October, and the last four games due to the lacerated kidney).

The Indianapolis Colts host the Houston Texans in one of the most anticipated National Football League games on Sunday, December 20 start time at 1:00 PM ET, at Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, Ind.

Despite the hope of practicing this week, Luck said he still does not feel completely 100 percent back from his Week Eight injury.

But then he shoved it in everyone’s face making a play that literally changed the game and he ended the day having the best game of his career. Although quarterbacks are off limits to contact in practice, Kory wondered if the Colts might decide to “let him get bumped around a little bit before he goes into a game”. “These guys will show up I promise you”.

Branch beat the Colts right tackle off the edge, what, and swatted the ball out of Matt Hasslebeck’s hands. Following Sunday’s 51-16 meltdown to the Jaguars on Sunday, both Mathis and Pagano talked about the similarities between the two.

The pass rush for the Jacksonville Jaguars has been downright miserable in 2015 and while I liked what I saw from Branch on Sunday, it is improbable that he will be able to reproduce that performance. A week after getting knocked around by the Steelers, the 40-year-old Hasselbeck was sacked three times and left the game late with a rib injury. He’s banged up, like a lot of the guys, but he’s a warrior.

“I don’t know how you can not get up for this contest”, head coach Chuck Pagano said Monday. Hasselbeck came back from the first injury and only missed two plays.

Fans chanted, “We want 50!”

But Luck later said that practicing for a week and playing in a game that weekend was definitely a feasible scenario – provided he is cleared by doctors. “I wouldn’t say there’s any more urgency”.

Pagano doesn’t care about any of it. He just wants to find a solution in time to make one final playoff push.

-Outside linebacker Daniel Adongo was not active for the Jacksonville game on Sunday. For Jacksonville, it was a couple of return touchdowns – a fumble and a punt – plus a risky Bortles pass to Allen Hurns that was almost intercepted but instead turned into an 80-yard touchdown.
