The script is very powerful and little did we know that Prakash Jha was a brilliant actor. In fact, Jai Gangaajal is about B N Singh, the corrupt cop played by Prakash Jha.

“He was happy and liked the song, more so because Jai Gangaajal is a woman-centric film”.
Talking about the kind of films Play Entertainment would make in future, Milind says, “Films which are right on costs and have good content will be our priority”. Local MLA (Manav Kaul) is taking advantage of the situation in his favour; but will this continue for long? The film features SP Abha Mathur (Priyanka Chopra) who is appointed the first female SP of Bankipur district, Bihar. This is the highest BO collection for a film-centric film on the first day while Sonam Kapoor’s “Neerja” has earned Rs 4.70 crore.
A lot has been offered on the lines of drama – Priyanka opposite local goons, her own staff, and her struggle to keep trust of people; also a kidnapping mystery with life on stake. Let’s look at her stint as SP Abha Mathur, and since the movie is freshly out of the oven, we only have the trailers to draw references from.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’s Wife Amruta has made her Singing debut with Prakash Jha’s upcoming Bollywood release “Jai Gangaajal” starring Priyanka Chopra.

The background score is perfunctorily effective, the notes heightening to a crescendo, only to increase the drama quotient of some scenes, which seems unnecessary. Even the villains, Manav Kaul, Ninad Kamat and Murli Sharma are terrific in their respective roles. Jha’s cinema has always been about broad strokes for simple folk, and Jai GangaaJal is no exception. The actress’ career graph has only grown by the year with her choice of roles making her one of the most popular stars we have today. However, if you are a Priyanka fan, then give this film a shot.
