On the season, Browning has completed 62 percent of his passes for 1,332 yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions. Browning added a 31-yard TD strike to Dante Pettis on the opening possession of the second half and capped his night with his first career touchdown rushing to give the Huskies a 35-3 lead.

My Prediction: These two teams are evenly matched though with Jake Browning possibly missing in Washington’s it’s unlikely that the Huskies will be able to put up many points on the scoreboard.

The Arizona Wildcats and Washington Huskies square off Saturday at Husky Stadium. However, Washington proved Saturday night that he’s still a home-run threat in an offense that ranks last in the Pac-12 averaging just 334.1 yards per game.

Petersen said a week ago that there was “a big hope” that Browning could play against Arizona, but on Thursday declined to provide any kind of definitive update. Solomon attempted a “quick kick” on fourth down that netted just 20 yards. The over/under for this game is 58.5 total points.

FULL STRENGTH: Washington’s defense should be back at full strength after a pair of starters had to sit out the first half of the past two games due to targeting penalties.

Arizona wide receiver Trey Griffey drops a pass in the end zone…

“We’re well aware of it, but they do a great job of executing”, UW coach Chris Petersen said. “Even though the scheme isn’t different … they’re a little more focused on quarterback runs, keeping the ball in his hands, whereas with Solomon, they’re spreading it out a little bit and letting him throw the ball a little bit more”.

Just as impressive as Browning’s efficiency was the Huskies defense holding Arizona to its fewest points since being shut out at Oregon in 2012.

Washington dominated Arizona from bell-to-bell, 49-3, with its offense doubling its season scoring average from before the game. Arizona still needs one more victory to reach bowl eligibility but that won’t be easy with games remaining against USC, Utah and Arizona State.
