Jalen Ramsey doesn’t respect Steve Smith, Smith doesn’t care

The Jaguars’ plan was to run out the clock instead of adding a game-securing touchdown. The Ravens were certainly lucky to get out of Jacksonville with a victory, but no one is going to be terribly proud of the insane fourth quarter they had to survive to improve to 3-0.

“For us, it’s a fabulous victory”, Baltimore coach John Harbaugh said.

“We’ve had a good handful of [game-winners] in my time here”, Tucker said. That’s how I feel. The Jaguars held the Ravens to 283 total yards, and forced three takeaways. “Yeah, we gave this one away”. “Having said that, we have to play a little bit cleaner”.

The can’t-capitalize-off-a-takeaway theme began midway through the fourth quarter. Smith approached Ramsey after the game, assumedly to talk about what went down, but another heated exchange ensued. The Patriots are 3-0 after defeating the Texans 27-0 on Thursday but rookie Brissett, a former Florida quarterback who ended his college career at North Carolina State, injured a thumb during the game.

The Jags got the ball back at their 25 with 1:02 to go, but facing a third-and-21, Bortles’ pass was intercepted by Zachary Orr. The special teams allowed a big return.

Their quarterback has regressed – seven turnovers in three games. I’m not really sure. “It’s not in my hands”.

On Sunday, Bortles threw another first-quarter interception – his third in as many games.

T.J. Yeldon turned six carries into 17 yards and caught two-of-three targets for 11 yards Sunday in the Jaguars’ Week 3 loss to the Ravens. Also a sack helping the Ravens with field position.

Robinson’s second touchdown grab was initially ruled incomplete before being overturned after a challenge by the Jaguars.

“For me, it’s just about making plays”, Robinson said. I don’t care. You ain’t going to try me as a man.

The loss was a much better showing for Jacksonville than last week’s 38-14 loss to San Diego, when the team’s defense was gashed.

Flacco was 29 of 40 for 214 yards with zero touchdowns and two interceptions.

They’ve won three close games and expect to pull out many more. Ramsey didn’t help matters with his post-game comments.

The blame for this one fell on Blake Bortles and an offense that had plenty of chances down the stretch. The Jaguars played without two starting offensive linemen – left tackle Kelvin Beachum (concussion) and center Brandon Linder (knee) – and two defensive starters, cornerback Prince Amukamara and defensive end Jared Odrick.
