Jamal Crawford To Knicks Or Heat? Phil Jackson Wants More
According to a report from Frank Isola of The New York Daily News, the New York Knicks, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Miami Heat are all expressing interest in acquiring shooting guard Jamal Crawford, currently of the Los Angeles Clippers.

The short answer is no. While it is unknown what the Clippers would want in return for Crawford, it seems pretty clear that they aren’t interested in giving him away. Smith turned a deal down worth $6.4 million in this season.
If the Knicks do manage to make this happen-and according to Kurt Helin of Pro Basketball Talk, it won’t for some time-the Knicks offense will contain another dimension of scoring that defenses have been unable to figure out for over a decade.
The Cavaliers are also in the mix for Crawford, as he could be an option if the JR Smith deal does not work out for the team. For a team that’s already mortgaged so much of its future, maybe that’s where Doc Rivers and management draw the line and decide to keep Crawford.
Aaron Jamal Crawford (born March 20, 1980) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Crawford played his high school basketball for Rainier Beach High School, a basketball powerhouse in Seattle, before committing to play for the University of Michigan. Crawford was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers but was traded on draft day to the Chicago Bulls. In his career he has also played for the New York Knicks, Golden State Warriors, Atlanta Hawks, and Portland Trail Blazers. He won the NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award[1] in both 2010 and 2014, becoming just the fourth player in NBA history to win the award twice. He currently holds the record for most career four-point plays made with 44.
