Jameis Winston, Roberto Aguayo shine as Bucs beat Browns

Brady must sit out the first four games of the season for his role in using underinflated footballs in a playoff game after the 2014 season.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Cleveland Browns in Week 3 of the NFL Preseason on Friday, start time at 8:00 PM ET, at Raymond James Stadium.

The same goes for Hawkins (hamstring), Coleman (hamstring) and Gordon (quadriceps), who all joined practice earlier this week. A lot has changed – the quarterback in Cleveland is now Robert Griffin III, and the head coach is Hue Jackson – but one thing hasn’t: Gordon is still a dynamic wide receiver.

“I felt really good being out there with my teammates – all my friends right here, my brothers”.

The Browns are set to host Chicago on Thursday night and, in the meantime, they’ll get back to work this week and focus on both the highs and lows from a 30-13 loss to the Buccaneers. The heat index was 109 degrees.

“It’s important for him to be out there with those guys”, Jackson said. I expect to move forward with that and I’m excited about it. I wanted it to be that way. “There are literally hundreds of conversations going around the league about players all the time, and if we got into speculating about all the reports, about what could be going on and what conversations could be going on, we’d be here for a much longer time than we have”. The subject was brought up by reporters following the afternoon’s practice.

During the first half alone, Gordon caught two passes for 87 yards. He will play Friday. “I can’t wait to get back out there and play the game I love in front of the great fans of Cleveland”.

“I don’t want to go and put bulletin board material stuff out there because we’re all pros out here”, Pryor told reporters after practice. “I think it’s good that our quarterbacks are all good enough athletes that they can manage bad plays by extending plays and making throws downfield or tucking the ball and running and getting us positive yards on first and second down and even on third down”.

Coleman was nagged by soft tissue injuries at Baylor.

Browns: CB Jamar Taylor, who has replaced Tramon Williams as a starter, got spun around in coverage on Evans’ TD catch. He picked off a pass from Bucs quarterback Mike Glennon in practice August 23. RGIII wasn’t guaranteed the starting job right away, but he did enough to earn it pretty quickly and through a couple preseason games he’s looking pretty good.
