James Bond hilariously tries to rent a car on The Late Show

Following the artistic, entertainment and box-office success of 2012′s Skyfall, it seemed inevitable that the newest James Bond venture, Spectre, would pale, at least a little, by comparison.

A must see for any Bond aficionado, or anyone who likes their wristwatch to also contain a garrotte. “James Bond” 26 times over the course of the 24 films. Yet each movie is eagerly anticipated and always offers something new and exciting. “A license to kill is also a license not to kill”, M informs C (Andrew Scott), contrasting James Bond and the Double O program’s famous subtlety with the bluntness of a drone strike. Cader elaborates that the movie going culture in Sri Lanka is one that craves every next global release with the hype for Spectre already evident on social media.

Director Sam Mendes’s pyrotechnics and action sequences are more than up to standard, but “Spectre’s” biggest success may be the way it blends Bond’s smirking humor into the festivities.

Daniel Craig: In few words, Daniel Craig makes James Bond complex, an all-male fantasy, a very good bad guy, and still knows how to be fun while at it.

Surprisingly, the actor who starred in the most 007 films, Roger Moore, didn’t drive a single Aston.

In this outing we find James right where he left off in the previous film “Skyfall” as he begins his search for the top secret crime organization known as Spectre while MI6 fights its own political battle of possible termination.
