The track includes the lines “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / I made that bitch famous”, in reference to Kanye interrupting her acceptance speech at the MTV VMAs in 2009 and Taylor previously insisted she had never given her approval to the song. She did not accept his request though because of the message of the song. Kardashian exposed her when she posted the phone conversation via Snap Chat that reveals Swift knew all about it.
Unfortunately for Swift, there’s a technicality that she didn’t consider. And I really appreciate you telling me about it.
“Everybody knows that he is a bully”, she finished.
It has since emerged that, under local California privacy law, if a conversation is being “overheard” by others then the posting of it online may not be illegal.
Swift has also posted her reaction already on her Instagram account.
