James Corden parodies Beyonces Lemonade visual album

Cutting between images from Queen Bey’s actual film and his own spoof, Corden copied several of the GRAMMY winner’s best looks from her cornrowed album cover shot to cooking up some lemonade in a satin bra and underwear. In Corden’s case, the title cards included “Monologue” and “Trump Joke” rather than Beyonce’s “Anger” and “Apathy”.

He moodily tells viewers while sitting in a bathtub that he doesn’t want to write any more Donald Trump puns, before referencing the most talked-about line from Beyonce’s album. “Doing Trump jokes makes me feel dirty”, he continues.

“I try to write a monologue night after night”.

Corden changes costume many times during the video, channeling his inner Beyonce with conviction.

Not one to miss an opportunity is TV host and comedian, James Corden.

James wasn’t alone in parodying Beyonce – fellow host Stephen Colbert also presented a sketch in which he hits objects with a baseball bat while dressed in an all-yellow outfit on Monday night. Instead of “Becky with the good hair”, he has “Jimmy with the good hair”. However, she has now released a statement insisting there’s no truth to the rumours.
