The presenter admitted, “I didn’t know how big it was when I said yes”.
At the beginning of the clip, the “Young Good Morning Showbiz Reporter” tells viewers, “I’m here in London to interview Meat Loaf, and I think this is where he’s staying”.
Jordan had one more surprise for Corden, though.
Martin introduced Corden onto the stage by joking to the crowd that Corden was once a member of his band.
Finally, Corden told Meat Loaf that he’s in a band, and asked for advice.
We legit couldn’t remember the last time we’d heard actual Britney Spears sing an actual Britney Spears song before now, but it was a long time. In between hits, Corden asked the group’s remaining members why they don’t do dance routines like their boy band ancestors, and offered to be their choreographer.
Who knew he got his start so early? The 34-year-old singer shared a snap of herself and James together, tweeting: “Took a ride around LA with @JKCorden & did a little #CarpoolKaraoke”.
