James Corden is in NY ahead of his turn hosting the Tony Awards on Sunday (June 12), so what better way to explore the city than carpooling with some Broadway stars?

James Corden’s “Carpool Karaoke” on “The Late Late Show” has become a viral success.
There have been sublime Carpool Karaokes (Adele), and there have been celebrity cameo Carpool Karaokes (George Clooney and Julia Roberts), but rarely has there been a Carpool Karaoke of the singing quality featured in the latest of James Corden’s runaway hit videos. It’s just, we’re gonna call it Carpool Karaoke, so without that.’ And then I thought, I’ve just gotta go.
As the two venture towards the Theater, Corden and Miranda belt out tunes from the hit Broadway musical, “Hamilton”. In The Late Late Show host’s latest Carpool Karaoke, Corden – who will host the Tony Awards on Sunday – was joined by Hamilton creator, co-star and Pulitzer Prize victor Lin-Manuel Miranda, along with other Broadway stars Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Jane Krakowski and Audra McDonald.
Arndt says the 23-year-old woman was unconscious the entire time because he checked her and she “didn’t move at all”. With him in the care were Miranda, actresses Audra McDonald and Jane Krakowski and actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson (also known for “Modern Family”). Tony-nominated actor Lin-Manuel Miranda, whose Hamilton is nominated for a record-breaking 16 awards, was one of many to hit the streets of NY with James. “It’s a long evening and everyone is there to have fun”.

“The gang jammed through classic Broadway favorites like “Seasons of Love” from Rent, “Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You” from Jersey Boys”, and “One Day More” from Les Miserables. “That was the most Broadway response to hearing an opening chord”, Corden said before they burst out singing.
