Of all the medical issues outlined above, clearly the most troublesome and franchise-affecting are Howard’s. It was his debut after serving a one-game suspension for accumulating too many flagrant fouls last season as he went over the limit during the playoff series against the Warriors. Not only that, the Rockets have young players that will draw interest, including McDaniels, who I mentioned above as well as Jones and Motiejunas, who will be free agents after the season, and could demand a lot of money.
