The allegations against those players, as well as other athletes, were made in a television report by the Al-Jazeera network last December.
According to the league’s rules, the suspensions would be for “conduct detrimental” to the league and this is separate from possible PED-related suspensions if they are found guilty of illegal drug use.
Harrison said he would do the interview on August 30.
“I think it’s pretty typical of how things have been going with them lately”, Rodgers said.
Harrison would also like to see the interview broadcast live for transparency.
The 38-year-old Harrison, a 14-year veteran, is one of the most-respected players in the Steelers’ locker room and his teammates seemed relieved Thursday night that he nearly certainly will avoid a suspension now that he has agreed to meet with Goodell.
