James is rolling in postseason with Cavaliers’ ‘Big 3’ intact
They have yet to lose a game, sweeping both Detroit and Atlanta before blowing out Toronto in the first two games of the conference final.

“Thinking it was an opponent, all 6′ 8” and 250 lbs of James went down like he’d been shot.
Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James showed the sports world how much Jay Z stays on his mind during a post-game press conference last night (May 21).
James did conditioning and weight training every day during the gap and got some treatment that helped refresh his legs and back.
LBJ hailed Shaq as the most dominant player he has ever seen after leapfrogging his tally of 5250 points.
But, for James, the most memorable moment may have happened off the floor, because in attendance that night was Hall of Famer and National Basketball Association all-time leading scorer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
During the Cleveland Cavaliers Game 3 loss in Toronto against the Raptors, which was their first loss in the 2016 playoffs, stars Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving struggled.
James had his 15th career “triple double” – double-figure statistics in three categories – and passed Shaquille O’Neal to reach fourth on the National Basketball Association career playoff scoring list.
At postgame interviews, James was flanked by teammates Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love. The three-time All-Star – who leads Cleveland in postseason scoring at 24.7 ppg – went 11-17 from the floor to go with a team-high five assists, two steals and a pair of blocks.
James entered Thursday night with 5,232 career postseason points, 18 off of O’Neal’s mark.
Shooting 50.3% from the field and 49.4% on three-pointers. He’s never attempted so few mid-range jumpers over the course of a full regular season or postseason. But, ultimately, his sour relationship with LeBron James weighed heavier than his 30-11 record. He missed most of last season’s playoff run due to a shoulder injury.
But although the Cavs are more than halfway to winning a title – and ending the city’s 52-year championship drought – James isn’t satisfied. “It doesn’t mean the ball is going to go in all the time, but we can’t not go away from them just because it’s not going in”. Matthew Dellavedova, who also dealt with fatigue issues so serious he was hospitalized during the 2015 Finals, can forget about any additional offensive burden and focus on his high-energy supplementary game.

“They felt they were doing this for LeBron”, the person familiar with the internal workings of the team said, “instead of with LeBron”.
