NEW YORK – The Knicks completed a back-to-back sweep of the Bulls while dealing another blow to Chicago’s playoff hopes.
The Knicks were 7-of-24 (29 percent) in the opening quarter and Anthony was just 1-of-8. In addition to his triple-double, he had the fans buzzing with a driving dunk over Lou Amundson and Kristaps Porzingis (19 points).

Things only got worse for the Bulls and Derrick Rose in a 111-89 loss to the Magic. Defensive stalwart Robin Lopez had eight points and six rebounds. Sasha Vujacic was steady with nine points, five rebounds and a steal.

The final outcome wasn’t that big of a deal. They said the locker room was happier and the basketball will be better, but the Cavaliers keep falling in games they shouldn’t be, even against teams that are nowhere near the postseason. James shrugged off the talk – which stemmed from his own comments – after the Cavs lost in Brooklyn on Thursday. The most interesting result from the evening was the fact that Kevin Love was able to dominate without Kyrie Irving around. Jordan McRae made a meaningless 3-pointer in the final seconds, but no one cared by that point.
