James McClean brands Jurgen Klopp ‘an idiot’ over West Brom comments
Liverpool, who were drawn against Augsburg in the last-32 of the Europa League, and their fallibility at set-pieces were exposed by West Brom who scored with their only two efforts on target, both coming from corners. “They saw that the lads tried everything and played football”, he said.

“It was not a friendly game”, said Klopp.
“We’ve done well, you can’t fault the players. Only the money does”.
McClean is no stranger to confrontation himself and weighed in on the matter yesterday with strong words about the German newcomer to the league.
“I wouldn’t read too much into Jurgen Klopp saying he won’t be splashing the cash in the January transfer window”, he said.
For the third year in a row the Liverpool first-team made a decision to cancel their Christmas party, unable to find a date in the packed December schedule.
“With Ings out for the season and Sturridge’s problems, it may be a front man. Equally, he might be looking to add a creative spark in midfield”. “The next one I have to see again. Jurgen will know who’s out there though”.
“We stayed in the game, had a few moments where we not so good, but only set plays that cost us”.
The Liverpool manager was involved in a heated discussion with Baggies coaching staff following Divock Origi’s last-minute equaliser on Sunday, and later revealed he had not shaken hands with opposite number Tony Pulis.
If the reaction of the Anfield crowd – and a poll on the Liverpool Echo website – is anything to go by, he might have stuck the right chord.
Pulis defended Gardner over the challenge on Lovren.
“I was a supporter of Brendan Rodgers, and I was sad the way it ended for him, but I am also a supporter of Klopp and the vitality that comes with him”.
“The two worst tackles in the game were James Milner’s challenge on Gardner and Martin Skrtel’s challenge on Salomon Rondon”.
“I think that is a real positive we can take out of the day”.

“So I feel really satisfied that we got this draw”.
