Peppers, a linebacker/defensive back helped lead MI to a come-from-behind victory over Colorado with 9.5 tackles, including 3.5 tackles for losses.

On Monday morning, Peppers was named the Big Ten’s co-Defensive and Special Teams Player of the Week.
Peppers finished with 99 yards on four punt returns, increasing his nation-leading yardage total 173. Upon garnering the tandem of honors, Peppers became the first player in the conference’s history to take home both weekly awards in the same week. On two kickoff returns, he had 81 yards and a career-long 55-yard return. He also was responsible for one quarterback hurry.
Peppers is the sixth Wolverine since 2004 and the first U-M defensive player since Brandon Herron in 2011 to win the Camp honor.

He had 3.5 tackles for loss, including a sack, in the game against Colorado. He plays linebacker, defensive back and returns kicks and punts for the fourth-ranked Wolverines. The last MI player to earn the recognition was Mike McCray on September 5, 2016. MI begins their conference schedule next week when they host Penn State at 3:30 p.m.
