Jamie and Jools shared the news of their new addition on Sunday, with the father proudly comparing the baby’s 8lb weight to “16 packs of butter”.

Recently Jamie’s mum Sally shared an adorable photo of Petal and the newborn – who is yet to be named.
Just days after welcoming his fifth child, a son, with his wife, Jools Oliver, the celebrity chef took to Instagram to share a precious photo of himself with his baby boy.
He wrote: “Hanging out with my boy in the veg patch!”
Next to an adorable snap of their baby wrapped up in a blanket, Jamie wrote: “And then this just happened guys!”
Congratulations once again to Jamie, Jools and the whole Oliver family.
“He arrived safely. Mum / @joolsoliver was really really wonderful, unbelievably composed, natural birth and my two eldest girls got to come in at the very end as the baby was born which was wonderful to witness”. And love to all you mums out there how wonderful you are it blows my mind.
Married for 16 years, the couple also have a younger daughter called Petal Blossom Rainbow (7), and son Buddy Bear, born in 2010.
Jamie announced the news on Instagram, revealing that his two eldest daughters witnessed the final stages of the birth in the hospital room. The baby’s name has yet to be revealed.
“A bit more testosterone would probably be a good thing, but do you know what, I’m just grateful for whatever I get if it’s healthy”.

And fans just couldn’t handle the cuteness of the newest member of the Oliver brood. Magazine that their name of choice will certainly be his wife’s decision: “I think you can guarantee something floral or from the natural world”.
