Novak took a different tack on September 2 after Putin’s comments were published, saying Russian Federation is ready to take part in informal talks with OPEC later this month, even if a deal isn’t immediately reached.

Putin’s criticism in the Bloomberg interview of negative campaigning in United States elections – “They attack each other and in some cases I wouldn’t like us to follow their example” – is as shallow as Clinton’s famous mockery of Putin’s return to the presidency after four years as prime minister as evidence of a Russian democracy deficit.

“But if our partners will agree with a different logic, one of considering mutual interests, of respecting each other’s interests, then our relations will change, too”, Putin said.

Clinton, whose use of a private email account during her time as secretary of state has dogged her 2016 presidential campaign, said she understood and took classification seriously when she was President Barack Obama’s top diplomat.

“We are facing a very serious concern”.

This change in fortunes for Putin, who gave a swaggering interview to Bloomberg News on Thursday, has some people anxious.

Clinton said the USA has shown “great restraint” to a series of cyberattacks by state and nonstate actors, but “we are going to have to take those threats and attacks seriously”.

The forum includes 52 sessions and five business dialogues between Russian Federation and their partners from China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, ASEAN and Germany, discussing a range of issues regarding business opportunities in infrastructure, energy, aquaculture, tourism, intellectual economy, education and training in Asia-Pacific, manufacturing, forestry, and other topics. Some officials have suggested Moscow is trying to influence the US election.
