Japan, US Slam North Korea’s Ballistic Missile Launch as ‘Unacceptable’
When a signal of the departure of North Korea submarines or naval vessels is received, the object is targeted.

The move came as the discussion centering on the deployment of the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system in the country is fueling social discord and affecting state affairs, at a time when North Korea’s test-firing of a submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM) on Wednesday is triggering security concerns.
“We believe that all parties to the Korean Peninsular nuclear issue should avoid action that may escalate tension, as the situation is complex and sensitive”, Lu said.
That sounds like a threat.
Many say that the country’s players were playing under tremendous pressure of the consequences of a medal fail, which eventually affected their performance. “We don’t know the specifics about how accurate it is or what the range is”, he added.
The threat to the U.S. mainland does not yet exist; there’s no evidence North Korea has yet been able to miniaturize its nuclear weapons to fit into a warhead.
Lawmakers will also study deeper into the development of missile technologies by Pyongyang, as the latest launch of an SLBM has been viewed as a success. Earlier this month, a similar meeting triggered by North Korea’s launch of ballistic missiles failed to produce a statement, due to China’s opposition.
North Korea has warned it will turn Seoul and Washington into “a heap of ashes through a Korean-style pre-emptive strike” if they show any hint of aggression toward the North’s territory.
Mass dancing demonstrations – a holiday staple in North Korea – were to be held on Kim Il Sung Square and other places around the country. Global investigators concluded a North Korean torpedo had torn the boat in half and caused the vessel to sink. The United States would like to see a unified Korea that’s democratic, “and if you’re North Korean, that would make you fairly nervous”.
