Unfortunately for the 28-year-old, the answer was willy.

The Japanese athlete was attempting to ping himself over the bar at 5.45 metres on Saturday when his peen chose to bump the pole at a pivotal moment.
On a normal day, the only pole Hiroki Ogita uses to get himself above and beyond a 5.45-meter-high bar is made from tighten wound carbon fiber. He was attempting to clear a bar set at 17.3 feet when his leg touched the bar and caused it to start to wobble.
Ogita, one of three athletes from Japan competing in the men’s event, inadvertently knocked the bar off with his penis, cutting short his dream of glory.
Despite the hardship, Hiroki went on to clear two more bars before coming in 21st place for the day, but it was not enough to send him through to Monday’s final.
If it’s any consolation, Ogita now has his trademark moment going into his home Olympics in Tokyo in 2020.
