Jar Jar Binks won’t be in Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Typically, the Star Wars franchise has steered clear of post-credits scenes. “Legacy” debuted during a presentation hosted by producer Bryan Burk and is now available online. Abrams had no interest in including one in his upcoming “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”.

Ridley, who plays a scavenger, said the film captures the “delightful” tone of the earlier movies.

Over the weekend, J.J. Abrams and the cast participated in a bunch of press events.

“I was interested in the described path of the character…it was easy”, he said.

The Force Awakens features several new female leads.

According to Kennedy, Captain Phasma (“Game of Thrones” star Gwendoline Christie) is one of the most important villains in the film.

“I didn’t anticipate at that point that there would ever be another film”. Now we can enjoy the Force Awakens safe in the knowledge that there’ll be no surprises or twists of any kind. His thoughts on the matter are as followed. “I think that as people do and as I’m sure that they will, after the first screening of this movie, that aspect will be over, the secrecy.” . John Boyega is particularly blown away by his first look at the Millennium Falcon, and equally star-struck by Harrison Ford. “And I’m gratified that they’ve been passed on generationally between families”.

Looking back at that original film, from 1977, and looking “at all the things [director George Lucas] got right, it’s impossible and stunning”, Abrams adds. “But Disney, to my shock, was arguing to not ruin, not reveal, not show every story beat”.

Having the chance to go into a movie fresh, without having major twists or turns revealed ahead of time, isn’t just uncommon in the era of overeager trailers and tweet-heard-round-the-world instant reactions; it’s nearly impossible to achieve. Even if they have, they might not have the special edition released in September with images, props, and behind-the-scenes shots from Episode VII.

But they promise the new film is going to be good.
