The ABC affiliate in Indianapolis said information about the specifics of the crime had not been released, but the guilty plea could result in an eight-year prison sentence.

In November 2012, the documents charge, Fogle paid for sex with a 17-year-old at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. Court documents also say that Taylor obtained commercial child porn from internet sources and provided it to Fogle.
Russell Taylor, who is the head of the Jared Foundation that was created to combat child obesity, secretly videoed 12 minors changing their clothes and showering.
Fogle, 37, became famous in the United States as “the Subway Guy” after claiming he lost 200 pounds (90 kilograms) in college by eating healthily at Subway sandwich shops.
Now, the attorney of the former Subway spokesperson is speaking out on the scandal.
The company has issued a statement that it no longer has a relationship with Fogle.
Former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle contacted prostitutes in Richmond in order to solicit sex from minors, according to court documents. In doing so, Jared is accepting responsibility for what he has done. But after that, things got worse for Fogle, as texts were discovered where he boasted about having sex for money with a teenaged girl.
Holly Meckler’s 16-year-old daughter, Alexis, was in the second grade during Fogle’s visit.
The first charge alleges that Fogle distributed and received “visual depictions of minors engaging in sexually explicit content” and conspired “with others to do so”.
On one occasion, Fogle showed the videos to someone else. He will pay 14 underage victims $1.4 million – $100,000 each – in restitution, according to the Associated Press.
TMZ is reporting that Katie Fogle has put out a statement that describes her intent, explaining that she is shocked and disappointed. “My focus is exclusively on the well-being of my children”.
The family will offer no further comments. “I appreciate the respect for my family’s privacy during this hard time”.
Under the deal, Fogle’s attorneys agree to ask the judge for no less than 5 years in prison, while the government agrees to recommend a sentence of less than 13 years. No decision was made at the hearing about Fogle’s guilt or innocence; that’s expected to occur at a separate hearing at a later date.
Fogle’s attorney Jeremy Margolis told reporters in a statement on the courthouse steps: “He expects to go to prison, he will do his time”.

Fogle’s family shared their shock and grief over the incidents after the court appearance, saying they will not be granting media interviews, rather they plan to “comfort each other and heal” in private.
