Flawless Rickie Fowler birdied three of his last seven holes to seize a one-shot lead while Rory McIlroy ended up missing the cut in the Honda Classic second round at Palm Beach Gardens in Florida on Friday.

Conversely, Harrington bounced back from losing a ball in a tree on the 10th hole in the first round to play his last 25 holes in 3-under to make the cut at 141. “[On the] 17th hole, he hit a shot that was right of the right hole location, carried past the flag but stayed [out of the water]”.
“I think it’s important to be close to the lead in a tournament like this, because it’s such a hard golf course”, Walker said.
“I feel strong pain when I move a certain way”, said Matsuyama.
Meanwhile, Hiroshi Iwata was unable to improve his score in the second round, carding two birdies and three bogeys for a 71 for a two-day total of 146 to miss the cut by three shots.
Stan Wawrinka will play for his second title of the year when he faces Marcos Baghdatis in the final of the Dubai Tennis Championships. Before those final two holes, Walker was not distinguishing himself from numerous other golfers on the course, standing at 1-under for the day. He had a triple-bogey 6 on the par-3 fifth hole and a double-bogey 5 on the par-3 15th. Obviously the course is not getting any easier as the week goes on.
“That’s a big accomplishment around this golf course – not just one day, but back-to-back”, Fowler said.
“It’s starting to get really solid, and I’ve got to just keep doing that and let the confidence build”, Scott said.
Coming off a missed cut of his own, Walker started off with a bang.

The Dubliner isn’t even in the field for Augusta National but as he staged a remarkable second round comeback alongside Mcllroy and Zach Johnson to survive the 36-hole guillotine, he refused to push any panic buttons over the state of the Down man’s game. I’d like this to be the start of that run.

And yet it is still jarring to see Garcia’s date of birth, January 9, 1980, which puts him at 36 and makes him older than all but five players ahead of him in the Official World Golf Ranking.
