A representative for Jason informed the website the fallout started after he asked for an official employee to escort himself and his entourage to their flight since TSA precheck was down.

Southwest Airlines says singer Jason Derulo‘s entourage was removed from a flight over the weekend for unruly behavior. “When they voiced their concerns to the airline they were told they could not fly and proceeded on the plane anyway”. He and the crew were ejected from the plane by airport security.

“His team requested an escort and were denied and they believed they were being treated unfairly”, an insider revealed to People.

Derulo later boarded a private jet to make it out to Los Angeles in time for his show.

The “Try Me” singer (and let’s not forget So You Think You Can Dance judge) reportedly got into a shouting match with a Southwest employee when one of his bodyguards wasn’t allowed to pre-board the plane with the rest of the posse. The camera then points to one of Derulo’s group, who says, “They can’t kick me off of this!” to which Derulo responds, “For real”.

Derulo may have fired away on Instagram, but his songwriter – Michael Keaton’s son, Sean Douglas – has greeted the incident with radio silence.
