The Oklahoma quarterback has ranted to anybody from the media about his time at Texas Tech and he has ranted about getting hosed over in the recruiting process by TCU.
By any measure, the Cowboys’ season was a huge disappointment.

So there’s going to be those kinds of changes.
Jones does leave the door open for other changes on the staff, but seems to imply that those would mostly involve coaches whose contracts are now expired (he set the number at four, but did not provide names). “He was a big part of the success we had moving the ball”. If indeed Garrett remains head coach, that’s a decision he’ll be involved in later this year.
If the Cowboys do draft high (keep in mind that Jerry Jones can trade away the draft pick like he’s done in the past), they need to draft a player that can immediately help the team in 2016.
Not only did this season point out how much the Cowboys rely on Romo, it also put a spotlight on the glaring weakness the team has at backup quarterback.
“A collarbone injury isn’t going to stop me from playing a length of time”, Romo said.
“Last year, pass rush was a priority”.

I tend to agree with that assessment, because though he did play well in his short amount of time on the field, he did have a few too many turnovers, and I never felt comfortable with him as a No. 1 type of quarterback.
