Jay and Aliona win Strictly Come Dancing
STRICTLY Come Dancing came to a glittering end with tonight’s finale. One finalist would then be voted off by the public.

This segment contains the only dance in the series where there are no rules.
Jay was the only one of the final trio who didn’t score a ideal 40 during Saturday night’s final, with Kellie Bright nabbing two and Georgia picking up one for her final routine of the night – a reprise of her Charleston from earlier in the series. Head judge Len Goodman added: “That was brilliant”.
Craig Revel Horwood agreed: “I was disappointed, I really was”.
It wasn’t enough that he dropped from the ceiling like Spiderman, the judges said it was like “pick n’ mix” and clearly not the good candies.
It started in spectacular fashion, though, with Jay being lowered from the rafters to the dance floor. Bruno said that Jay’s arm movements are among the best of the male celebs he’s seen. “I wanted it more exciting for me”.
Bruno Tonioli said: The content was incredibly you really are twinkle toes out there.
Well, Jay got a big finish – and so did his fans. “I’m happy you liked it because it’s the best thing I’ve ever done”. I like them both, but the Charleston especially just because I did it to Chicago, which is my favourite musical ever.
The Wanted’s Jay McGuiness is the victor of Strictly Come Dancing 2015, despite placing third on the grand final leaderboard.
Now the second part of tonight’s final is on, presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman have unsurprisingly had a quick wardrobe change. “I’ve learned to dance and I’m chuffed to bits. This was the right decision”. I’m pretty confident that Katie and Anton will go out first, but then again I was pretty confident that Katie and Anton wouldn’t make it past Halloween, and look how that panned out.
The dance: It was a solid effort from Jay tonight.
“You’re number one in my book”, said Darcey Bussell.
Fellow runner-up Kellie, whose partner Kevin Clinton was visibly frustrated with the result, added: “I’ve had the best time, I really have”.
It was Georgia who got the highest praise from Craig, though.
Her dance partner Giovanni Pernice said: “And you’ve become an awesome dancer”.
Speaking about his victory, a rather emotional Jay said: “I feel spaced out and very weird”.
And Georgia burst into tears.
EastEnders star Kellie sat at the top of the leaderboard with a maximum of 80 points by the end of the round. They barely put a foot wrong throughout the night.
She said: “In our showdance, we have to do something where I jump up in the air and spin around once and land”. This routine is so much fun and the Star Wars theme is so topical. You bring joy to my heart.
