Jay Leno Returns to ‘The Tonight Show’

Moments after the joke, Fallon pretended like he had just pulled a hamstring, and asked if there was anyone there who could “tag in” for him.

Leno’s question to his passenger suggests, jokingly or otherwise, that he’s not ready to leave behind his infamous feud with Letterman, which erupted nearly a quarter-century ago over who would replace Johnny Carson on “The Tonight Show”.

Ogling long enough at the classics sitting in his 130-car garage while wiping them clean with a diaper, Leno has made a decision to get back into the swing of things with a new CNBC show called (what else) Jay Leno’s Garage.

In addition to Tuesday’s performance, Leno also gave an interview to AdWeek that was published this week. “His middle name is for Henry Ford”, Leno says. Isn’t that unbelievable? Ralph Nader is still alive?’ Leno said. “It seems a few fans still haven’t forgiven Leno for helping to push out Conan O’Brien from ‘Tonight” in 2010. Following his tenure on the late-night show, the former host of over two decades visited as a guest on November.

Of course, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Leno as of late. “Howard said no one is more cruel than Jay Leno”. Jay also blurted out, “After that last debate, Marco Rubio being called the best communicator in the Republican party”.

Leno was the host of NBC’s The Tonight Show for 22 years. “I mean, on majority, there are guys throwing tools at each other and getting into fake fights, and everyone’s covered in tattoos”.

He added: ‘The economy is so bad Hillary Clinton wants people to look through her deleted emails to see if there’s any from that Nigerian Prince’.

And if the Republican race comes down to Jeb Bush against Donald Trump, it will be like “the tortoise and the bad hair”.
