Jay McGuinness wows judges with stunning Strictly performance
“But I do feel that I’ve found the balance and adjusted to the workload”.

Alongside glamorous costumes and perfectly coiffed hair, the beauty procedure is part of the Strictly experience, but The One Show host resisted.
At the bottom of the pile and looking the most likely to face tomorrow’s dance-ft is Carol Kirkwood and Ainsley Harriott who were both dubbed box office flops by the judges. “I’ve never seen a jive like that”.
The 53-year-old split the judges: “I love the way you come out and just enjoy yourself. Again, I’m asking myself: will I be able to do it?”
The broadcaster and Strictly stalwart Anton performed a surprisingly flat cha cha cha to Pretty Woman from the movie of the same name.
“We had Peter Andre pegged as a clear favourite but Jay has just raised the bar considerably and it will take some supreme strutting from the other contestants to catch him in the next few weeks”, said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
Despite that hiccup, Jamelia is feeling positive about her salsa for this third week’s movie-themed show.
“I am happy because it’s a handsome song, but I’m also absolutely terrified because it’s my first bit of ballroom and the routine is really hard, but then I’ve come to know that about Gleb”.
However, she is proud of the effect her Strictly presence is having on daughters Teja and Tiani: “I let my girls come to rehearsal and they were like, ‘Oh, gosh mummy!”
“But when he cracks a smile it’s like, awwww! I’m allowed to look for a second or two, right?” she joked.
“I definitely didn’t think Strictly would be as hard as this”, the Birmingham-born star said.
Dancing on Strictly is a joy for Rani, but she’s especially pleased at being able to showcase more of her personality.
Darcey Bussell called McGuiness the “coolest guy in the competition” while resident meanie Craig Revel Horwood said: “That is a level of technique we have never seen ever. Nobody was expecting that, darling!’ That’s brilliant”, she beamed.

“At first, it was a bit of a shell-shock because I thought ‘how do I do this?”
