Jay Z Announces TIDAL Concert In Brooklyn To Celebrate 1M Subs
After just three months on the job, Tidal CEO Peter Tonstad is leaving the company as music streaming services, both old and new, fight to be top dog. Well, now the details are here.

Jay Z, his wife Beyonce, Prince, Usher, and Nicki Minaj will headline the October 20 concert in Brooklyn, with tickets going on sale on Wednesday, firstly to Tidal subscribers.

Earlier this week, Jay Z tweeted the news of Tidal attracting one million users by writing, “Nothing real can be threatened, nothing unreal exists”. Up and coming acts such as Bas, Benjamin Booker, and Flatbush Zombies will also get time to shine. “1,000,000 people and counting”, Hov proudly wrote on Twitter.
Jay Z is bringing out the heavy-hitters to celebrate a TIDAL milestone.
Ever since debuting Tidal in a freakish, but star-studded, press conference back in March, much has been made about the pros and cons of Jay Z’s new business venture. Wait until the streaming service’s first benefit show, featuring numerous same TIDAL celebrity co-owners.

In the event that Tidal’s concert does not immediately sell out, tickets will also go on sale at the American Express Box Office at the Barclays Center at 12 p.m. on Friday.
