Jazz flatten Clippers 104-91, win 1st-round series 4-3

Los Angeles missed him as it went on to fall to Utah in seven games. The Jazz muzzled J.J. Redick, who was 1 of 5 from the floor and scored three points – his lone 3-pointer occurred late in the game – in 22 minutes.

Unfortunately for them, the Jazz ended up eliminating the Clips in LA on Sunday, two days after Chris Paul told the retiring Pierce: “You’re not ending your career in Utah”. Two of them were decided by seven points or less, while the other was a 30-point blowout victory by the Warriors at home.

Andre Iguodala echoed his teammate’s comments about the lack of fun in Utah.

Gordon Hayward (and his attractive hair) led Utah with 26 points and eight rebounds, while fan-favorite Joe Ingles finished with 12 points, five rebounds and four (!) steals. Joe Johnson is the third double-digit scorer and Rodney Hood is grabbing 2.4 rebounds. And Boris Diaw had some super goofy interior finishes and even a couple of and-ones to finish with 10 points on, you guessed it, 4-of-6 shooting. Unfortunately, this is the same old story for the same old Clippers; they are very good in the regular season, but are very bad in the postseason. Rudy Gobert sat most of the game because of foul trouble.

As long as the players are safe, there is nothing wrong with kicking back from a hard day of work and enjoying a different city from time to time.

Hill played just one game against Stephen Curry this season and it was Game 81 of the season coming off an injury.

“We know we can throw anyone in the game and they can help us and that’s what it will take to beat those guys”.

“We’ve been reading about our obituary for about three months now”, Coach Doc Rivers said, “so I’m sure everyone will have that”. “But there’s no real alternative”. But the Warriors are not only favored by a heavy margin to win the whole thing, they are especially favored against the Jazz in the second round.

Los Angeles began to edge away in the third quarter and appeared to be in control when Austin Rivers capped a 9-2 run with a step-back 3-pointer that pushed the lead to 91-77 with 3:58 remaining. Some of those called fouls were not actually fouls, but anyway. It was much bigger than the Jazz’s. The Clippers’ 11-point loss. He got 11 rebounds, including four offensive ones. John Wall added 20 points and 16 assists. Jordan’s six double-doubles in the first six games are a playoff high. “You can kind of keep it rolling a little bit”. That means the big being up in the ball screen.

“I got in at 4 a.m.”, Thomas said. DeAndre Jordan added 13 points and 18 rebounds. That could be enough to persuade him to stay with the Clippers, along with the six seasons that he had invested into the team. Can they get in a game?

The Warriors face the Jazz during Game 1 on Tuesday at 10:30 p.m.

Hayward fell ill in Game Four and played just nine minutes in Utah’s win. So what are his stats once you take that out?
