Jeb Bush Endorses Ted Cruz
Clinton now has 1,670 delegates, which includes 1,159 won by her in various states and 467 super delegates who have pledged their support to her. Sanders has 886 delegates including 829 won in state primaries and caucuses. Ted Cruz, R-Texas listens on during the Republican presidential debate in Las Vegas.

Cruz also praised his latest endorsement from Jeb Bush, saying it proved his candidacy has drawn broad support among Republicans.
Bush’s endorsement comes two months after he dropped out of the presidential race on February 20th following a big loss in SC.
That is the only way we can reverse President Obama’s failed domestic and foreign policy agenda, and turn our country around. But it was unclear how much sway he has with an angry electorate in a topsy-turvy election year.
Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are the definitive front-runners in the Republican and Democratic primaries but they may not be the candidates with the best chances in the general election, according to a survey of national voters. “As we stand here today, there is only one campaign that has beaten Donald Trump over and over and over again”, he said. “Thank you, I will never forget!” he said on Twitter.
For Republicans, Arizona, with its 58 delegates, is the third-largest winner-take-all state of the campaign.
In Utah, Cruz appeared to benefit from Mormons who dominate the state’s Republican vote and rejected Trump’s attacks on Mitt Romney, a Mormon and the 2012 Republican presidential nominee.
Mr Trump’s rivals’ best hope is to deprive him of the majority of delegates needed to win the nomination outright and force a contested convention.
But Cruz has a long climb if he’s to catch Trump in the delegate count, and it’s even harder with Ohio Gov. John Kasich still in the hunt. Ted Cruz has met the 50% threshold needed to win all of Utah’s 40 delegates, according to a CNN projection.
The win in Arizona gave Trump a little less than half of the Republican delegates allocated so far.
Mr. Trump had a 14-point lead over Sen.
Cruz said authorities should be empowered to “patrol and secure Muslim neighborhoods before they become radicalized”, drawing a sharp rebuke from Muslim Americans and civil rights groups. Asked about the ad, he told NBC: “It’s not something I would have done”.
Ted Cruz’s wife Heidi is a senior executive for Goldman Sachs who took a leave from work for fundraising for her husband’s campaign. “It will not keep us safe”, she said. “The last thing we need is leaders who incite more fear”.
Sanders also had a good night in Idaho, with another crushing victory over Clinton, 78 percent to 21.2 percent, as he tries to close Clinton’s delegate lead.

The Democratic contest stays out west the rest of the week with Washington state, Alaska and Hawaii all scheduled to caucus on Saturday.
