Bush told financial backers Wednesday that after a series of fundraisers late this week, he would head home to Miami to prepare for the next debate, set for November 10. Now, Bush is struggling to keep cash flowing while proving he has what it takes on the campaign trail to make a comeback.
The volume and feeling reflect the urgency of Bush’s drive to push his campaign into a winning position ahead of the first votes of the GOP nomination fight in February Once seen as the probable favorite, Bush’s viability has never really thrived in the face of unexpectedly strong support from outsiders Trump and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, who are leading the pack. First, Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., sparred with one of the moderators at the October 28 CNBC debate, John Harwood, over the impact of his tax proposal.

“I want someone with a proven record, someone I can trust, someone I can believe in (and) someone with a level head”, Shealy said, touting Bush’s record as Florida’s governor.

Bush said that eventually, voters will turn away from Trump and the other candidates who have no experience in public service. “It’s a reactive kind of mode that somehow, I’m the big guy in the room and I’ll just figure it out as I go along”.
