Jeb Bush is told “Your message isn’t resonating”

When the town hall resumed, Cooper asked Trump if he remembered saying that.

Are the candidates being overdramatic on the issues?

There was some intrigue.

Local voters have one last chance to see the leading candidate for the Republican nomination before Saturday’s GOP primary. “I should stop campaigning maybe”.

The Pontiff said that because Trump is proposing to build a massive wall along the US-Mexican border, Trump was not acting as a Christian.

Trump added he would meet with the Pope “anytime he wants”.

Trump went on the offensive during Thursday’s town hall, seemingly siding with Senator Marco Rubio, calling Cruz a liar.

Trump was less charitable to Sen. Ted Cruz, who is polling in second nationally and is battling Rubio for second in SC, according to Dole. When Cooper asked whether he would take on a different tone as president, Trump suggested he could easily switch back and forth between being politically correct – and not. Merely a few days ago he was attacked by President Barack Obama. He holds up the Bible and then he lies. Each state presents another chance to thin out the field before Trump accumulates too many nominating delegates. Today, he’s opposed. Trump argued that was a long-ago position. But he wasn’t worth having to wait 40 minutes for the proceedings to start.

He also addressed his dispute with Pope Francis.

Trump also shed light on his habits on the road, including his propensity to consume fast food from big chains like McDonald’s and Burger King.

Jeb Bush and John Kasich refused to be drawn into the war of words between Donald Trump and Pope Francis on Thursday.

“I’ve been trying to do this for like three months”, Bush said. “I mean, Jeb Bush brought his brother over here, and it just didn’t work”.

He took only a vague swipe at Trump. “These single women are the real heroes in my opinion”, Kasich said. The tactic is a curious one for Trump, who is attempting win the SC primary which has been traditionally in favor of the Bush family. Marco Rubio and Texas Sen.

The poll places Jeb Bush last, with 4%. He insisted his campaign, now fourth in poll averages, isn’t sinking.

“I don’t think I feel shaken up by the bully”, Bush shot back.

A new poll conducted by NBC just released reflects Ted Cruz now slightly ahead of Donald Trump, with 28% of the vote, Trump at 26%. “Can we find the ability to respect people who may not agree with us?”

He soon found God, Kasich said, though “the pain still comes”. You need 1200 delegates to win. He didn’t insist that the Affordable Care Act, known as Obamacare, be scrapped, as some of his rivals have urged. “It’s easier to interpret the Dead Sea Scrolls than a hospital bill”, he joked.

When Trump was asked how he would replace Obamacare, he spoke about Syria. He would continue current policies on pre-existing conditions, and would give people a tax credit that would make it easier to afford insurance.

“Well, we’re on the ballot in every state”, Bush said Friday on MSNBC about his path forward. And he points to his time as governor in charge of Florida’s robust national guard, consultation with military and foreign policy experts and vigorous foreign travel while in office and as a private businessman as evidence.

During his own town hall Thursday afternoon, John Kasich hugged a young man who’d told a deeply personal story about overcoming a father figure’s suicide and his parents’ divorce.

“Wow, coming from a guy whose office has a hard time saying actually what his accomplishments are”, Bush said Wednesday morning in Beaufort, near Hilton Head. “The blood of American soldiers was (…) squandered by this administration’s lack of effort”.

“But by the time the war started I was against the war, and there are articles, I mean there are headlines in 2003, 2004, that I was totally against the war”.
