Bush’s dismissal of Trump’s candidacy came as Trump continued to unleash on the former Florida governor, telling a SC crowd on Wednesday that Bush is languishing in the polls despite a massive campaign chest.
The campaign also announced changes to it’s TV ad buys by removing $3 million in scheduled ad buys and focus on voter contact instead. “You probably saw I’m going to spend now – going to start spending a lot of money because I don’t want to take any chances”.
Speaking about the viability of his own campaign, Bush downplayed expectations that he must win early contests.

“He’s not a war hero”, Trump said.
Back in October, Mike Murphy, the political Svengali helming Right to Rise, told Bloomberg Politics’s Sasha Issenberg that he considered Trump “a false zombie front-runner” and therefore not a real threat.
In a recent Quinnipiac poll, more than half of voters nationally said Trump doesn’t have a good chance of winning, and half of all Americans said they’d be embarrassed to have Trump as their president (35 percent said they’d be embarrassed to have Clinton as their president).
According to the Politico, Bush said his plans for combating ISIL would be starkly different from Obama’s, which he described as “incremental” earlier in the month.
Both Trump and Bush are campaigning in SC on Wednesday.

The “lessons” from the United States venture in Iraq, Bush said, include the need for “iron-clad” intelligence and “a strategy for security and stability, and an exit strategy”.
