Jeb Bush on New Campaign Spot: ‘You Can’t Ignore Donald Trump’

MANCHESTER, N.H. Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush on Friday proposed an overhaul of the USA welfare system that would eliminate what he called failing programs for the poor and send the federal dollars from them to the states to develop their own plans.

Jeb Bush is claiming one area where he’s superior to rival Chris Christie: He’s “much better looking”. “I think we ought to be celebrating success in life”.

And the former Florida governor conceded that he appreciates Trump’s politically incorrect style – “to a limit”.

“When anybody disparages people with disabilities, it sets me off”, he said.

At a town hall meeting in New Hampshire, a questioner asked the former Florida governor whether he would launch an independent run for the White House if Trump were to win the Republican nomination for the November 2016 presidential elections.

“I think we have the best volunteers with the greatest commitment and greatest record, and get the candidate a little better, I think we’ll be in good shape”, Bush said when asked about his chances of finishing second.

“We’re all equal under God’s watchful eye”, Bush went on. “Do you want a president that disparages women, Muslims of all kinds, people with disabilities, Hispanics?” “That’s why I called him a jerk, because he disparaged a person who he knew had a disability and made fun of him”.

Bush was passionate in speaking before more than 100 Lakes Region supporters and numerous area’s Republican leaders.

“I have been a loyal Republican, and is past is prologue, then I’m confident I’ll be supporting the Republican nominee”, Bush did say – but he doesn’t think that nominee will be Trump.

Home to the nation’s first 2016 presidential primary and a state that’s seen drug deaths skyrocket in recent years, New Hampshire’s prominent place on the campaign calendar has turned drug addiction into a hot-button issue on the campaign trail.

“Sometimes we don’t sign up until after the fifth time we meet them.’ That’s New Hampshire”, Bush said during a almost 90-minute town hall last night.
