Jeb Bush outlines military policy: ‘We can’t withdraw from this threat’
Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush is making it clearer that his call for the US refugee program to give preference to Christians fleeing Syria does not exclude Muslims. “And if these attacks remind us of anything, it is that we are living in serious times that require serious leadership”.

“We are choosing the leader of the free world”, he said, according to passages provided to The Associated Press in advance.
On Wednesday, campaign officials say Bush is going to Charleston to deliver a speech at The Citadel on his plans to rebuild the US military.
Obama, adamant about limiting US casualties, told a news conference after a G-20 summit in Turkey that it would be a mistake for the United States to switch its strategy and put USA troops in combat against Islamic State. “And I think we should have-we should focus our efforts as it relates to refugees for the Christians that are being slaughtered”.
Bush faulted the Obama administration for not being more transparent about what the process is for ensuring that the refugees who come to the USA dont have terrorist ties.
Graham, appearing on MSNBC, proposed coordinating the armies of United States, France and “any North Atlantic Treaty Organisation nation that would like to help” to form a ground force that would supplement the allied air campaign against Islamic State.
In a Reuters/Ipsos poll of 1,483 U.S. adults conducted after the attacks, 63 percent said a Paris-style assault could happen near them, and 60 percent said more should be done to counter Islamic State.
Several raised specific concerns about Obama’s plan to bring into the United States as many as 10,000 refugees from the Syria conflict.
Bush, a year ago viewed as the likely front-runner, has failed to move to the top tier of GOP White House hopefuls in a field where political outsiders Donald Trump and Ben Carson and charismatic young lawmakers Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz have eclipsed him.
Bush reiterated that our primary goal should be to make Syria a safe place for refugees to go back to and advocates creating safe havens in the region.
Trump, on CNBC, said: “We have no idea who these people are…”
