The super PAC supporting Jeb Bush’s presidential candidacy, Right to Rise United States of America, launched its TV advertising in Iowa this week, the Des Moines Register reported.

The ad, which attacks Trump’s slogan “Make America Great Again”, begins with 18 seconds of sound clips of Trump statements that, out of context, seem to disparage America.
The online ad it released yesterday beating up Trump – “Bright” – sought to bolster Bush’s message that he’s the candidate of “optimism” and the real estate mogul leading him in the race will only lead the country down a pessimistic path. Bush has made direct comparisons with Trump in his recent stump speeches, pointing out his own history of taking conservative positions while highlighting Trump’s past of supporting Democrats and their policies.
The first 30-second spot focuses on Bush’s record as governor of Florida, and doesn’t mention any of Bush’s rivals by name, including frontrunner Donald Trump.
“Of the $24 million, $6 million will be spent in Iowa, $12 million in New Hampshire and $4.7 million will be spent in South Carolina”. In addition to New Hampshire, the ads will air in Iowa, followed by the next week beginning in South Carolina. In an average of polls, Bush was once second behind Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, but has dropped to seventh according to poll averages in the state.
Bush could use the help.
Some of the credit, or blame, could go to loosened campaign finance rules: Of the 15 candidates spread across the two-part debate Wednesday on CNN, eight of them had raised at least million among their campaigns and allied outside groups by the end of June.

It appears that some of the very generous donors to Perry’s super PAC expect their unspent contributions to be refunded.
