According to the Canadian, the love for Jeep brand in India is very strong and awareness is not an issue. The most powerful of the three models is the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT. The investment in the manufacturing facility in Ranjangaon, India, will support the production of a new Jeep vehicle and is expected to begin production in 2017. Incumbents like Audi, BMW, Mercedes and Land Rover have made hay by selling SUVs of various sizes in the country. The brand recorded sales of more than 1.2 million units worldwide in 2015, the highest total in its 75-year history, setting a global sales record for the fourth straight year.

“In India, some people use Jeep as a term to define the whole segment”. The Jeep brand delivers an open invitation to live life to the fullest by offering a full line of vehicles that continue to provide owners with a sense of security to handle any journey with confidence.
The Jeep Cherokee SRT is powered by 6.4-litre engine that generates a whopping 475 BHP of Power and 644 Nm of Torque. Mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, the power is distributed suitably across all the four wheel, via the Quadra-Trac Active on demand 4WD. The Wrangler, on the other hand, is made for not just tarred Indian roads, but for riding over snow, mud, sand and rocks as well.
