Jeep Compass Means Farewell Jeep Cherokee
SUV or Sports Utility Vehicle is the most common and preferred types of cars available in current market.

With sales of the mid-size Jeep Cherokee and full-size Grand Cherokee both stalling, FCA is looking for a boost when the all-new Compass hits the showrooms mid-2017, arriving to fil the shoes of both the current Compass, and the similarly-sized Patriot. A quick look up at the Jeep USA website revealed that best two candidates would be Jeep’s Renegade SUV and the Compass. Jeep India will also manufacture this model in Ranjagaon factory for domestic market as well as for RHD global markets. The new India-bound Jeep Compass will be a C-segment SUV which is reported to be inaugurated in Brazil first.
What does happen to be very interesting is that the new compact crossover is going to offer up looks that are along the same as those on the Grand Cherokee. The frontline of the Compass takes the traditional styling of other Jeep models, vertically slatted chrome grille, encompassed by the two fog light gatherings that accompany a projector setup. The top-end variant will probably get a dual-tone paint treatment, considering the auto in the spy shots has a white body but a black roof.
All will be revealed soon, however, as the USA-bound, Mexican-made version of the new vehicle is scheduled to debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November.

Autoo reports the Brazilian-spec Compass will be available with either Fiat-Chrysler’s 2.0-liter Tigershark four-cylinder engine or a 2.0-liter turbodiesel four-banger.
