To mark this silver anniversary, Jeep has a new crop of specialty vehicles ready to take on the challenging 4×4 trails around Moab, possibly offering a hint of what Jeep could bring to market in the near future.

The Fiat Chrysler-owned vehicle maker is preparing to unveil no less than seven new concepts, teasing two of them, the upcoming Jeep Wrangler “Trailcat” concept and the Jeep “Crew Chief”, to keep us on our toes. Look for more information and images on these vehicles later this month.

Anyway, like the concepts we’ll be seeing at the event, a production model Wrangler Hellcat would probably be out of our budget. An upgraded version from the one we saw a year ago.

Either way, this year’s 50th annual Easter Jeep Safari is shaping up to be one to remember, and Jeep has confirmed it will debut seven concepts in total.

The second model is called the Crew Chief and it also appears to be based on the Wrangler.

Jeep’s press release about the two concepts skimps out on words and details, as they prefer to let everyone simmer in curiosity until March 19, the first day of the 50th annual Easter Jeep Safari.
